The Language Cafe Utrecht started in 2009 as a student initiative to bring language lovers together in a café to practice Dutch and other languages. It soon grew out to be the most fun thing you can do on a Wednesday night in a café!
The LCU is a non profit initiative currently run by four volunteers: Luka, Marieke, Sergio and Xavier.
Our events are free to join and are not connected to any company or institute. We don’t even own the bar we are in every week! However, the staff are willing to let us take over the bar those evenings
